Welcome to the Self Service portal for Town of Chapel Hill employees. 🦺 We're upgrading ESS (Employee Self-Service) to Employee Access, a new site to view your pay information We're excited to announce the soft launch of Employee Access! This new site with an upgraded user experience will eventually replace ESS (Employee Self-Service) as your go-to site for pay, tax, and time off balances. We're still working on the time off feature, so we're keeping ESS until the new site is fully launched. How do I log in? Click the link below and enter your information. Use your Town email address if you have one. If not, enter the same email you use for ExecuTime. https://townofchapelhillnc.tylerportico.com/tesp/employee-selfservice What can I do in Employee Access? See your pay stubs, tax information, and your total compensation statement. You can also use the paycheck simulator to see how changing your deductions could affect your take home pay. Where can I see my time off balances? We're working to get these added to Employee Access, but for now you can see them in ExecuTime or ESS. Can I keep using ESS? For now. Once all the features of Employee Access are live, we'll shut down ESS. But don't worry! We'll give you plenty of warning before that happens. Where can I go if I have questions or need help using Employee Access? Contact [email protected] ESS Instructions Click "Log In" in the upper right corner to begin. While you are logged in, your name will appear at the top of the screen and an Employee Self Service (ESS) link will appear in the space to the left of this message. Use the ESS link to access your employee information. If you have not logged in before: Your ESS User Name is your Employee Number. If you do not know your Employee Number, it can be found on your pay stub. Your password is the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. You will be prompted to choose a new password after you log in for the first time.
